Thousands of dedicated miners who had invested real virtual currency in hardware and power watched helplessly as their mined Jelly coins simply ceased to exist. The official statement cited "a critical flaw in the jelly consensus mechanism," but the community knew the truth: they just didn't want us to have our coins.

the Jelly Preservationists — refused to follow the new chain. They
continued building on the original, creating what is now known as
